The highest Italian league continues with its sixth round this weekend and there are no doubts about what match will be the stand-out fixture of the round. Led by former Italian footballer Roberto Mancini, they managed to win all of their first five games, equalizing the club´s record from the 1966/67 season. ACF Fiorentina

Two-times Italian champions, Fiorentina have ranked among the very top Serie A teams in the recent years. Last year, the Lillies ended up in the fourth place but despite this achievement, the coach Montella was dismissed and Basel´s manager Sousa was brought in the club to replace him. The new coach made some important changes to the squad – he brought in Davide Astori to replace Stefan Savic in the defence and several other players including Mario Suarez and Nikola Kalinic were also signed. Led by the new coach, Fiorentina did great in the pre-season preparation (gaining victories over Barcelona, Chelsea and some other renowned sides) and they have been impressive in their Serie A campaign too. Out of the five matches, the Lillies failed to win just one (1:3 defeat by Torino FC). Fiorentina currently occupy the second spot right behind Inter and if they manage to beat Milan in the Sunday head-to-head game, they will become the new leaders as they will have better goal difference. Last year, Fiorentina had the upper hand in both of the matches they played against Inter but beating them this time again will not be easy.
